Who we are
Sistema Natura is made up of professional Environmental Hiking Guides. Thanks to our courses of study, over twenty years of experience in the field of nature tourism and environmental education and interpretation, numerous collaborations with School and Public Institutions, professional experiences in Protected Areas, and ongoing training, we have acquired the skills and expertise to accompany individuals or groups in areas of natural or environmental value. Through our activities, you will be able to discover the territory in its various aspects—natural, historical, and cultural—observing the surrounding nature with new eyes and rediscovering the traditions of our lands.
For the realization of our activities, we also make use of the valuable collaboration of other fellow Environmental Hiking Guides who have chosen to practice this profession daily.

Giovanna Del Greco - Environmental Hiking Guide AIGAE LA302
I was born in Chieti in 1971. After a university career, various voluntary collaborations in several Italian National Parks, and after attending hiking courses at the L'Aquila section of the Italian Alpine Club, I decided to devote myself full-time to environmental education and nature tourism. Having obtained the professional qualification of Environmental Hiking Guide Technician from the Tuscany Region, I have been registered since 2003 with AIGAE (Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides). Official guide of the Maiella National Park, I am listed among the operators of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park Authority for activities related to guiding, accompaniment, and environmental education. I have participated in training courses of the Lazio Regional Parks Agency, seminars on environmental education and interpretation organized by AIGAE and INEA (Italian Association of Naturalist Interpreters and Environmental Educators), and the Institute for Conservation Research of the San Diego Zoo (U.S.A.). I have also obtained certification as a Certified Interpretive Guide from N.A.I. (National Association for Interpretation - U.S.A.). As an operator in the Gens and Giorni Verdi projects organized by the Lazio Regional Parks Agency, I have also collaborated as a guide in accompanying groups of students during the School Camps of the Municipality of Rome, in organizing environmental education projects, and in hiking activities with adult groups on behalf of Italian nature tour operators within numerous Protected Areas. I am consistently involved in the design, organization, and management of excursions and nature trips, as well as in science communication in the field of natural sciences for groups and schools from various Italian regions. In addition, I am registered in the Register of Teachers for the For.est.A. program of the Lazio Regional Parks Agency and as an external expert in the MIUR PON Projects. Finally, I collaborate in the protection of the Sirente Velino Regional Natural Park as a Volunteer Ecological Guard.

Having become a qualified Environmental Hiking Guide Technician with a professional qualification from the Tuscany Region, I have been registered since 2003 with AIGAE (Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides). Listed among the operators of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park Authority for activities related to guiding, accompaniment, and environmental education, I was National Hiking Instructor for the UISP Mountain League from 1996 to 2004 and Basic Instructor of Nordic Walking ANI. My training path led me to attend courses of the Lazio Regional Parks Agency, seminars on environmental education and interpretation organized by AIGAE and INEA (Italian Association of Naturalist Interpreters and Environmental Educators), and important refresher courses of the UISP Mountain League. I have worked on the Gens and Giorni Verdi projects organized by the Lazio Regional Parks Agency and, as a collaborator with national Tour Operators, in the planning and execution of excursions, trekking, and nature trips; I have accompanied groups of students during the School Camps of the Municipality of Rome, and have also carried out environmental education activities for numerous Italian and foreign schools in various Italian National Parks. I currently work in collaboration with schools throughout Italy in the implementation of environmental education projects and in the organization of hiking activities and nature trips.
