For many years we have been organizing nature-themed summer camp activities for children and teenagers. Camps are among the most requested activities, both by children, who get to experience new forms of socialization, and by parents, who increasingly find educational and formative opportunities in them. In our professional experience, we have managed the Summer Camps organized for Cral Telecom Umbria/Marche/Abruzzo and we are currently involved in planning some activities as part of the INPSInsieme summer stays.

Why camps...
- Develop relational skills: interacting with peers and adults outside the family unit allows for improved ability to communicate, mediate, and express one's needs.
- Improve emotional resilience: an experience at a summer camp has a positive effect on emotional strength and the management of new situations.
- Increase self-confidence: completing small tasks increases confidence in one's own abilities.
- Contribute to physical well-being: physical activity and contact with nature promote harmonious physical development.
- Make them more independent: the experience of a summer camp generates independence and teaches how to independently handle simple daily tasks.
- Increase the ability to be together: team games and activities encourage achieving results not through competitiveness, but through sharing with the group.
- Stimulate creativity: artistic activities develop personal expression, creative thinking, and manual skills.
- Improve language skills: when provided, summer camps allow for learning new languages through play and daily life.
Children and young people will experience unforgettable moments in contact with nature, learning to know and respect the environment that hosts them. They will find new friends, share experiences, learn to be independent, and will be engaged in a healthy and constructive way during the holidays.

"After waking up and having a good breakfast, the day's activities begin. A quick tidy-up of our things in the room, we prepare our backpacks, pick up our packed lunch, fill our water bottles, lace up our boots and set off for the hike. Today's activity won't just be a walk in Nature, but along the trail we will actually practice using a topographic map and compass. All together we'll have fun following the route we've identified on the map... It's lunchtime, we relax in the clearing, near the spring... We set off again towards the day's destination... We've arrived! Satisfied with our achievement, we treat ourselves to a nice ice cream at the small village bar... Back at the hotel, a bit of rest, a shower, we tidy up our hiking gear and go to dinner... Now an evening awaits us all together to play in the hotel's common area and end the intense day. Now off to bed, ready for new adventures!"

The summer camps take place within some of the most important Italian National Parks such as the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, the Maiella National Park, and the Casentino Forests National Park. The summer camp experience is one that is strengthened precisely because it is lived in a protected natural area, which finds, in being a source of education, knowledge, and teaching respect for the environment and others, some of the reasons for its existence. Natural environments are also places that fascinate young people for their uniqueness, places where both cognitive and emotional aspects, linked to feelings and sensations, are stimulated.

For the organization of summer camps, we rely on: methodologies tested over the years; support from regularly authorized Travel Agencies and Tour Operators; professionally qualified staff, constantly present with the group for the entire duration of the camps, able to ensure the activities are carried out safely, with competence and knowledge of the area; hotel facilities suitable for hosting groups of young people.
