Equipment and clothing

A day in nature is a unique, engaging, and challenging experience, sometimes with a few unexpected events. To fully enjoy it, therefore, it is necessary to have a minimum amount of equipment that will allow you to face our "adventure" with peace of mind and make the journey more comfortable. In the pdf you will find a list of what is essential for a (guided) mountain excursion, but do not hesitate to contact us for more information and advice.

Hiking difficulty scale

To help you choose the most suitable routes according to the physical condition, experience, and desires of the participants, we have developed a scale of hiking difficulties that describes the main characteristics of the routes based on length, elevation gain, and type of environment. Choose from our calendar the hike that suits you... and happy walking!

TTourist - Difficulty level: easy. Routes on small roads, mule tracks or comfortable paths with manageable elevation gains and distances. They require minimal knowledge of the mountain environment and modest physical preparation.
E Hiking - Difficulty level: medium.Routes that almost always take place on paths, or on passage tracks in various terrain but always marked; sometimes they develop on open ground, without paths, always with adequate markings. They may take place on steep slopes and medium to long distances. They require some experience and knowledge of the mountain environment, training for walking, as well as appropriate footwear and equipment.
EE Expert Hikers - Difficulty level: challenging.Routes generally marked but that require the ability to move on particular terrains, even at relatively high altitudes and with considerable distance. They require mountain experience, sure-footedness and absence of vertigo, as well as appropriate equipment and physical preparation.
EAI Snow environment excursions. Excursions that require, for progression, the use of snowshoes, snow gaiters, and telescopic hiking poles. Clearly marked routes, winding through plateaus, valleys, wooded areas or on wide, little-exposed ridges, with limited elevation gain, where it is possible to guarantee safe passage away from avalanche-prone areas.
